Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was clean and tidy, and I appreciated being given a quiet part of the building since we work nights. However, the room didn't have much natural light, and we were short of towels and pillows upon arrival. The staff were approachable and friendly, helping us promptly with extra coffee sachets and an additional loo roll. Overall, a good experience with minor room issues.
The hotel rooms were small and shabby, with stained carpet, furniture, bedding, and curtains, not quite accommodating as suggested for 3 people. However, having benches right outside added a nice touch to unwind.
The hotel rooms needed a bit of a makeover as the furniture was dated and there was a terrible smell of smoke, but they were surprisingly spacious. Unfortunately, there was a room that hummed all night. The service was friendly and approachable, but there were some issues with staff being on the phone and the advertised bar being unavailable. The location was convenient for local attractions and off the motorway. The dining experience was disappointing in terms of the value for money, with a waste of money aspect. Overall, the facilities were adequate but not outstanding.
